Lettuce Mesclun Zesty Salad Mix – Item #3488

The perfect blend of sweet lettuces and spicy greens for gourmet salads all season. Includes these lettuces: Tango, Lolla Rossa, Black Seeded Simpson, Deer Tongue Red, and Royal Oakleaf. Greens include arugula, frisee, and mizuna.

Lettuces and greens prefer cool weather. Select a location with full sun, or partial shade in hot areas. Sow in early spring or fall, or in winter in mild climates. Keep soil evenly moist for best growth. Thin regularly. Lettuce does not like to be crowded.
Harvest by cutting no more than 1/3 of a single plant’s leaves at one time at soil level for continuous regrowth.
