Cucumbers grow best when direct sown after the soil has warmed to 70°F, at least one week after last spring frost. Prefers rich soil but will produce well in almost any garden with full sun and consistent watering. Start transplants indoors five weeks before last frost date.

Cucumbers have shallow roots and require regular watering for best production. This variety is resistant to powdery mildew.
